jonasbrothers-gibson-081713The Jonas Brothers finished off their summer “Jonas Brothers Live” tour at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles on Friday evening.

Olivia Somerlyn and Mike Tompkins got the crowd warmed up before main opening act, Karmin, took the stage. Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan owned the stage performing new songs off their upcoming album, a few covers, and their hit “Brokenhearted.” These two have amazing energy on stage and Nick’s trombone solos were amazing.

Kevin, Nick & Joe Jonas kicked off their set with their current single “First Time” with Joe making his way through the crowd to get to the stage while Nick banged on a tom. The trio played through their catalogue including songs like “That’s Just the Way We Roll,” “Still In Love With You,” “Fly With Me,” “Paranoid,” and more. They even threw in some older songs like “Take a Breath” and “Hold On.” In addition, they played a handful of songs from their upcoming album V including “The World,” “Found,” “Let’s Go,” and “What Do I Mean To You?”

A highlight of the show came when Nick took the stage for an emotional performance of “Stay.” We are still waiting for a studio version of that track! Can someone make that happen? We also loved how the guys took the time to thank their opening acts, band and crew numerous times throughout the show. Oh, and did we mention that Big Rob made a cameo during “Burnin’ Up” via Skype?

As always, the JoBros put on a fantastic show and Joe hinted that the group might be heading back out on the road in October! Fingers crossed.
