Not only did The Band Perry look stylish on the red carpet at the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, but they also rocked the stage!
The sibling trio of Neil, Kimberly & Reid Perry performed their latest single “Done” during the show and we almost forgot they were country stars! Their amazing performance totally could have passed for a rock performance!
The Band Perry released their new album, Pioneer, earlier this month and it has been a hit! Pioneer is on course to debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 Chart with an estimated 110,000 copies right after Justin Timberlake.
To celebrate the release of the album, the trio recently gave a special performance in their hometown of Greeneville, TN where an estimated crowd of 25,000 took to the streets. The history-making crowd boasted approximately 15,000 out of town visitors, who made their way to see “their” band.
We love that the band still remembers their roots. They recently chatted with The Boot where they revealed, “The first bit of advice we were given just in general is to be an entertainer because you’re not just a singer, you’re there to give people a good time.” Reid Perry continued, “Then, also, to play anywhere and everywhere you can because you’ll learn something. I remember we played many humble gigs where there were more people on stage than out in the audience!”
