No word yet on if Nick Jonas will be filling a vacant seat on the “American Idol” judging panel, but the 19-year-old is heading to another FOX music reality show!
According to THR, Nick will be reuniting with longtime pal Demi Lovato on “The X Factor”! Nick will help Demi narrow down her pool of contestants during the show’s judges’ house portion of the show.
If you’re not familiar with the show, this is where the final cuts are made for each group before heading to the top 16. Each judge brings in another celebrity mentor, usually a good friend which is why it makes sense for Nick to appear, to help them narrow down the contestants.
Last year’s celebrity guest judges included Rihanna, Pharrell, and Enrique Iglesias.
This year will find Demi mentoring solo singers ages 12 to 16, Britney Spears will mentor singers 17 to 24, L.A. Reid will handle ages 25 and over and Cowell will guide the groups.
