Demi Lovato dons a lime green dress on the cover of the August issue of Self magazine.

Demi is currently in the middle of her summer tour and will be taking a pit stop in NYC to perform on Good Morning America tomorrow as part of the Summer Concert Series.

So what’s the update on those rumors that Demi is dating Niall Horan of One Direction? They are just good friends and in a recent interview with MuchMusic, Demi revealed, “We’ve actually become really close friends and you know I’m really thankful I have someone who supports me in all aspects. You know, if I need somebody to talk to he’s there for me. But no, we’re not dating.”

She continued, “I’m single. It wouldn’t be fair to anybody if I was dating them because I wouldn’t be able to give them my attention. And I’ve never really stayed single for longer than a couple months. So, I’m experimenting with this and I’m really trying to get to know myself and do what’s best for me as a person and as a woman.”

Well, even though Demi and Niall aren’t dating, it’s good to see their good friends. Maybe we can get a 1D and Demi collaboration?! How amazing would that be?
