Justin Bieber: “Boyfriend” Breaks Single Day Views on Youtube + MTV First Interview (Video)
Justin Bieber is the king of Youtube.
The 18-year-old’s newest music video for “Boyfriend” earned over 8 million views in its first day, breaking the YouTube Record For Single-Day Views.
Justin premiered his video last week and also sat down for an interview with MTV First, where he chatted about working with Kanye West, his “Boyfriend” video being similar to NSYNC’s “Girlfriend,” if he’s remaking Fear, and more.
“Just being in the studio with him [Kanye], he’s just so creative and everything he says, he means it, and he’s just really smart,” said Justin. “So I think it’s always great to get into the studio with those people.
“He never gave me advice on my rapping, but every rap record that I played him, he’s like, ‘Yo, that’s your best one!’ He’s never said, ‘I don’t like that.’ He’s always been super supportive.”
And on the NSYNC comparisons, “I haven’t seen it,” he said. But, he admitted he’s “definitely” been influenced by Timberlake. “He was young, and he did it, and he was really amazing and had such amazing music,” Bieber shared. “I can’t say that I would be upset when someone compares me to him.”
