The McClain Sisters and Rachel Crow to Perform at the White House Easter Egg Roll

The White House is getting a visit from some of our favorite young stars this weekend.

China Anne McClain and her sisters Lauryn and Sierra, better known as the McClain Sisters, as well as Rachel Crow will be performing on Monday at the 2012 White House Easter Egg Roll. Rachel will be singing the National Anthem while we’re guessing the McClain Sisters will sing their single “Rise,” from the upcoming movie Chimpanzee.

In addition, everyone’s favorite platypus, Perry the Platypus, will join choreographer Rosero McCoy in getting kids and families moving with “The Platypus Walk,” a catchy spy-surf-rock song and dance that encourages fun, physical activity. Bella Thorne and Zendaya will also be making personal appearances at the event.

The 2012 Easter Egg Roll, which takes place on the South Lawn of the White House, is focused on promoting health and wellness with the theme, “Let’s Go, Let’s Play, Let’s Move!” All of the activities, including sports courts, dancing and cooking encourage children to lead healthy and active lives, which is a central part of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative, a national campaign to combat childhood obesity.

Tune in for live streams from the South Lawn all day on April 9th, 2012 on WhiteHouse.gov/live. You can also join the conversation online using the hashtag #EasterEggRoll.
