We have to admit, we are pretty excited for The Great Gatsby.
The movie is currently filming in Australia, but the first stills from the movie hit the internet today. The photos give you your first glimpse at Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire in the roles of Jay Gatsby, Daisy Buchanan, and Nick Carraway, respectively.
After seeing these pictures, we have to say the movie was perfectly cast! BFFs Leo and Tobey look very dapper while Carey is pretty much how we pictured Daisy reading the book. Is it just us though, or does the picture of Leo and Carey remind you of the picture used for the poster of Titanic 3D?
The Great Gatsby will hit theaters in 3D on December 25, 2012. Sigh…we have to wait a whole year? Guess we’ll just keep staring at these photos for now.
