Taylor Swift is lovely in red at the 2011 CMT Artists of the Year celebration in Nashville on Tuesday evening.
Taylor, along with Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, and Kenny Chesney were honored at the event and now it looks like Taylor may be eyeing another kind of prize…a movie role!
Tom Hooper’s big screen adaptation of Les Miserables, based on Victor Hugo’s book, already boasts a star-studded cast including Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter, and it looks like Taylor might be competing for a role.
According to the NYPost, Taylor is competing with Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood for the coveted role of Eponine.
The film is expected to start shooting early next year ahead of a planned December release. Taylor’s new music video for “Ours” will also premiere this Friday during E! News.
DO YOU THINK Taylor would make a good Eponine? Who would you cast in the role?
