We caught up with Cody Simpson at the 2011 Hollywood Christmas Parade Concert last week to chat about everything from the holidays to working with fellow popstar Justin Bieber.
Cody joined stars like Jasmine V, Diana DeGarmo, Ace Young, and Savannah Robinson at the kick-off concert for the 80th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, which will air on Hallmark Channel December 12. Cody performed his hit single “On My Mind” along with a cover of “Blue Christmas.”
The event benefitted Toys for Tots and Cody shared, “I definitely encourage any form of charity work and especially giving to kids.” So will he donate some of his new dolls? “I have some have at home. That’s actually a really good idea!”
We also asked the 14-year-old about the rumors that he’s working with the Biebs. “Probably at the beginning of the new year we have plans. We just wrote a song and planning on listening to it in a little while.” So will it just be a co-writing collaboration or an actual duet? Cody is keeping his lips sealed for now, but fingers crossed!
