Lady Antebellum Kicks Off ‘Own the Night’ Tour in Knoxville
Fresh off their win for Vocal Group of the Year at the CMA’s, Lady Antebellum kicked off their ‘Own the Night’ tour in Knoxville on Friday.
Their performance at the CMA’s was just a taste of what to expect on the band’s headlining tour, which also features opening acts Randy Montana and Josh Kelley (brother of Lady Antebellum singer Charles Kelley). Vocalist Hillary Scott recently chatted with Redbook about the tour, “We really want the premise to be “Own the Night.” It’s the name of the album and the tour, and to us, it’s like saying, “Own your own life. Enjoy every moment of your life because it’s a fleeting one.” We want a fan to come to the show with friends or family and forget all the heavy things that go on in their lives and have fun.”
More congratulations are also in order for Lady A. The band’s album Own the Night was just certified Platinum! For a full list of tour dates, visit ladyantebellum.com. To read a review of the tour’s opening night, go here.
