–Twilight star Kellan Lutz tosses around a football at the launch of the New Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport at the The Recreation Deck at The W South Beach in Miami on Friday. Tomorrow, Kellan will be joining fellow Twilight star Taylor Lautner, along with Chace Crawford, Jennifer Lopez, Marisa Miller, Ed Westwick, Nancy O’Dell, Brian McKnight, Michael Clarke Duncan, The Wayans Brothers, Olivia Munn, and Jessica Szohr in the DirecTv Celebrity Beach Bowl. The game will air on DirecTv’s Channel 101 tomorrow at 1:30pm EST.
Kellan was also featured on E! News today, where he talked about overcoming being abandoned as a teen. He stopped to talk to homeless teens today while in Miami. He shared, “When I decided to quit school and become an actor, everyone kind of left me. My mom left me, I was growing up with her and my dad, they divorced when I was younger…I was ground zero for a while and it was tough.” He went on to say “as much as you might have it bad or think you have it bad, it gets better.”
