Ashley Argota & Other Stars Remember Michael Jackson & Farrah Fawcett

1

-Yesterday the world saw the passing of two great entertainers, Farrah Fawcett & Michael Jackson (also passing this week was Ed McMahon). Many young stars took to their myspaces, twitters and youtube to express the impact these entertainers had on them. Below are some of the messages/memories:

Ashley Argota via Myspace:
It was a very sad day. I’m sure you guys have heard about the passing of two icons in Hollywood. The first being Farrah Fawcett, an original Charlie’s Angel and an amazing actress. The second being the King of Pop and one of the most talented people who will ever grace this earth, Michael Jackson. He was only 50 years old. It just goes to show you that life is short, and you should always cherish every moment and be thankful for everything you have. Michael Jackson was a huge inspiration. I’ve been watching footage of him on the news for the past five hours (pretty much since I got home)… What an incredible life and career he had. He was a musical genius and he will definitely be missed! My heart goes out to his family… Especially his children. May he rest in peace with his Creator.

AJ Michalka on Farrah Fawcett via official blog:
I will always cherish special memories of Farrah. I played her granddaughter on the CBS show called “The Guardian.” She treated me so kindly and became a mentor to me. She inspired me as a young actor and it was an honor to work with her so closely. I will always cherish her words and the first piece of jewelry that she ever designed and gave to me as a young child, will forever be a sentimental keepsake. In memory of Farrah Fawcett whom I love dearly…xo AJ

Only a true artistic legend’s passing could create such a solemn hush over a comedy show’s set.The brilliant Michael Jackson: you’re missed. I remember in 8th grade when I was mascot, choreographing a 25 person routine to Beat It including costumes, props, &original choreography.

On April 24th, two months ago, I paid $20 to see “The Collection of Michael Jackson” on display for auction. Here’s the blog that I wrote the same day: http://bit.ly/19Jc79. You can check out the pics she shared HERE.

Corbin Bleu via blog:
The amount of thoughts, both high and low, that have passed through my mind from the moment I first received the most loaded yet simple text message at 2:30pm today, June 25 2009, that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, my idol had passed away, is endless. Even as I sit down right now writing these words, which I can’t seem to type fast enough, it is almost impossible to bring into reality the truth.
I could not have expected my reaction at the immediate moment of reading the words sent to me by a close friend of the news. I felt my breath lock into a huge lump in my throat and my heart started beating faster and faster into a gallop…That is my hero. I know that very few people get a chance to hear such words directly from the person whom they admire most. I thank God for that. Because that is what is rooted deep within my drive and my desire to do what it is that I do. That is what Michael Jackson means to me. And I vow to continue to strive for what he has taught me.
