-Primetime Emmy nominations were announced this morning. High School Musical did receive a nomination for Outstanding Children’s Program and “Breaking Free” and “Getch’a Head in the Game” both receieved Outstanding Music and Lyrics nominations in the Creative Arts Emmys Category. (Source: Emmys.org). These are part of the Creative Arts part of the Primetime Emmys and these are not usually shown on TV. They’re usually held in a ceremony previous to the main show and they just show a recap during the main show. But, you never know.
Edit: HSM is also nominated for an emmy for Choreography and so is “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” for the episode “Commercial Breaks.”
